Crafted in fine china and issued in a number to centennial edition of 9500 to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of Lenox. This is hand numbered and signed number 587.
This is a certified authentic reproduction for the 100 year centennial representing an original masterwork.
Dated 1887, it is the earliest work still in existence known to be designed by Walter Scott Lenox.

The Walter Scott Lenox Vase is an authentic reproduction celebrating the centennial of the original masterwork by Walter Scott Lenox, who brought the production of fine bone china to the United States. Rococo-inspired, meaning intricately sculpted and lavishly detailed. A cupid riding a nautilus shell unfurls a flowing ribbon which becomes the handle of this pitcher-like vase. Glazed on the interior but not on the surface, the vase stands eight inches tall and extends eight inches across with a width of three inches. It is in flawless condition with no chips, scratches, cracks, crazing or repairs.
